Tom says he has “been into horses for twenty years – he just didn’t know it until about six years ago.” The Lippitt Morgan has won his heart. Having grown up playing baseball, Tom didn’t spend his early years with horses. But, as an adult, he learned quickly. Tom did all the ground work with several mature unstarted Lippitt mares that came to Quail Mountain Morgans. He went on to work with the farm's Lippitt stallions and now enjoys the versatility of the Morgan horse by trail riding...

driving... and

even doing some dressage!

Dawn MacNamara
Dawn has loved horses from as early as she could remember. She badgered her parents to take her trail riding when she was three years old.

She finally talked her parents into riding lessons when she was nine...

...and by the time she was sixteen, she was teaching, riding and successfully showing her Morgan/Quarter horse mare, Vanity Fair on the on the Southeast Pennsylvania Junior Jumper circuit. After being away from horses for over twenty years, she found she missed her passion. She saw an ad featuring an “Old Style” Morgan—Jake Mint. Dawn remembered the heart her Morgan cross had and wanted that again. That led her to the Lippitt Morgan.
