The Lippitt Morgan is a unique horse. It is a family of Morgans that trace back to the original "Fiqure", Justin Morgan's stallion with a minimum of known outcrosses.

Many people think that because they have a horse with a Lippitt prefixed ancestor in their pedigree, that their horse is a Lippitt.  That is not the case.

All Lippitts can trace their beginnings back to some or all of the eight stallions and 17 mares that were chosen as Foundation Stock for inclusion in this prestigious group.
